Eclipse 2017: Castle Gardens Petroglyphs Wyoming

What an incredible seven days...

Castle Gardens Petroglyphs is fifty miles from the nearest town and is one of the most desolate and isolated, yet one of the most beautiful and powerful places I have ever been. It's in the high desert - 6,200 feet (1,890 meters) above sea level, average 4% humidity, reaches over 100 degrees in summer and 40 degrees below in winter.

My goal was to take a wide angle shot of the totality of the eclipse, with stars in the background and strobe the foreground (the petroglyphs.)

I sadly lost many of the photos, due to a small car accident on the way back to Boulder, but, let me know what you think of the shots I did get.
